Wha...What? Kid x 2?

Yup, as crazy as it might sound, the Hobbs are adding another small one. We've spoiled Kennedy so much that we decided to spread the love around a little. Our little _______ (boy to be named Theodore later) will be arriving sometime in late August. I'm not really sure what else to write so I'm going to include some pictures of the little man and the reaction from our family.

Boy: Now this is just rude, no one wants to see this!
Kennedy: What's that?
Mom: I'll tell you when your older.

Mom: Isn't that precious?
Dad: Actually,...yes. It is quite precious.

Dad: Look at that profile, that belongs on a coin or something.
Kennedy: Oh, money.

Baby Boy: Dudes, look what I can do. That's right, my nose is on my knee.
Mom: Wow! Aren't you talented!

Dad: Look at that smile, he is just loving life right now.
Mom: Oh...I think I'm going to cry.
Kennedy: Ok guys, this is pretty lame, no one really wants to see this.
Theodore..I mean Baby Boy: Somebody's jealous.

So there you have it. This is our new little boy. Save the date and come welcome in this new addition to our ever improving Hobbs clan. We aren't sure if our patience or energy will be able to overcome an equal parent to baby ratio (1:1), but whether we're ready or not, this is happening.

Easters Sunday

What a great day, am I right? For any of you who live in Utah you know that today was awesome. It was like Mother Nature opened the summer door just to remind us of how wonderful warm weather can be. For those of you who live elsewhere just know we needed this. Last week we had snow, this week we're wearing shorts. Shorts! Here are a few pictures of our little family on a wonderful Easter afternoon.

This is what we call, The Hobbs Family in their Sunday Bests. We thought that we definitely needed to get a picture because we made a point to dress up all fancy pants for Easter Sunday. It is tough to get the little girl to stand still, so this picture will have to do. It is also, as you might be able to tell, tough to find a place to take a picture. It is either too bright, not shady enough, or in front of the power meters. Win some and lose some I guess.

Lazy Sunday. Kennedy knows how to just sit back and relax...or so you might think. Look closely. You can see that her feet are blurry, this is because she doesn't ever sit still. She is always moving. Even when she is "relaxing."

The blossoms are out. Spring is here. Throw off the blankets and put away the long socks. Bust out the shorts and the white hairy legs because we are ready to party. And party we will. Bees games, BBQs, walks (to and from the pool), bike rides with our new bike trailer, and, of course, partying.

This was really funny to me. Kennedy had no idea what was going on here. She spent more time taking eggs from her basket and putting them in the bushes. Oh, and picking up handfuls of dirt, she spent a lot of time doing that. Kennedy couldn't care less. She didn't find any of these eggs on her own and she will eat very little of the candy on her own either. This was 100% her parents (us) prodding her to do something that by all counts is very weird. Oh well, we have a great video because of it, so enjoy.
